Your privacy is important to us. It is IntelAgility’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website, https://intelagility.ca, and other sites, pages, forms, communities, and services we own or operate (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy explains how IntelAgility (“IntelAgility,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and safeguards information, including Personal Information, when you access or use the Services. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the processing described, where consent is a valid legal basis.
1) General principles
We only ask for personal information when it is genuinely needed to provide a service to you. We collect information by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent where required. We explain why we are collecting information and how it will be used.
We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide the requested service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Any data we store is protected using commercially acceptable means to prevent loss, theft, unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.
We do not share personally identifying information publicly or with third parties, except where required by law, where necessary to provide the Services through vetted service providers, or where you direct us to do so.
You may request that we permanently delete your personal data at any time, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
You are free to refuse our request for personal information, with the understanding that some services may not be available without it. Your continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of our privacy practices.

2) Definitions
- “Personal Information” means information about an identifiable individual, as defined under applicable privacy laws.
- “Confidential Business Information” means non public company or employer information, including without limitation internal processes, SDLC details, technical designs, roadmaps, architecture, security practices, operational procedures, customer or vendor information, and any information that could reasonably be understood as proprietary or sensitive.
- “Process” includes collecting, using, disclosing, storing, accessing, retaining, deleting, or otherwise handling information.
3) Information we collect
A. Information you provide directly
We may collect information you submit through the Services, including:
- name, email address, role and professional context
- organisation or employer name (only if you choose to provide it)
- applications, surveys, forms, and responses to program questions
- communications with us (email, support requests, feedback)
- content you submit in the Services (posts, comments, documents, uploads, tool trial notes)
B. Information collected automatically
When you use the Services, we may collect:
- device and usage data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, referring pages)
- cookies and similar technologies (see Cookie Policy below)
C. Information from third parties
We may receive limited information from service providers or platforms you use in connection with IntelAgility (for example, community platforms, form tools, analytics providers, or payment processors, if applicable), to the extent needed to provide access, confirm enrollment, prevent fraud, or operate the Services.
4) How we use information
We use information for purposes including:
- providing, operating, maintaining, and improving the Services
- evaluating applications and eligibility for programs, cohorts, and trials
- administering access to community spaces and resources
- responding to inquiries and providing customer support
- communicating service related notices and updates
- sending product updates, community announcements, and invitations where permitted, with opt out mechanisms where required
- performing analytics, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring
- preventing misuse, enforcing our terms, and protecting the integrity and security of the Services
- complying with legal obligations and responding to lawful requests
5) Community participation and applications
When you apply to join the IntelAgility Collective, Early Adopter Club, or participate in tool trials, we may collect limited personal information such as your name, email address, role, organisation, and responses to application questions. This information is used solely to evaluate eligibility, manage access, communicate updates, and improve IntelAgility offerings. We do not sell this information and we do not publicly disclose it.
6) Confidential Business Information and employer confidentiality
A. Core commitment
IntelAgility is designed to help members and teams improve delivery practices. Many participants are employed by organisations that maintain proprietary SDLC practices, internal processes, and confidential operational details. We treat any company specific SDLC and process information shared by members or founders, including information related to the employers of members or founders, as Confidential Business Information.
B. No public disclosure without authorisation
IntelAgility will not publish, share publicly, or otherwise disclose company specific information, including SDLC processes, internal workflows, technical details, or employer identifiable information, without prior authorisation from an authorised representative of the relevant organisation or from the individual who has lawful authority to grant such authorisation.
C. Educational materials, examples, and insights
We may create educational materials, examples, case studies, summaries, or learnings derived from community participation. In doing so, we will implement reasonable measures to avoid identifying a person or organisation and to protect Confidential Business Information, including:
- aggregation so no organisation is identifiable
- anonymisation of employers, systems, tools, and unique workflows
- removal of sensitive implementation details
- obtaining explicit written permission for any identifiable use
D. Member responsibility
You remain responsible for complying with your employment agreements, internal policies, confidentiality obligations, and applicable law. If you believe you have submitted Confidential Business Information in error, contact us promptly and we will take reasonable steps to address the issue, including review and, where feasible, removal or restriction.
7) Email communications
If you subscribe to IntelAgility updates or apply to our programs, we may contact you with product updates, community announcements, or invitations related to IntelAgility. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time using the link provided in our emails. Certain operational or transactional communications (for example, access confirmations, security notices, or changes to terms) may still be sent where permitted by law.
8) Third party community platforms
IntelAgility may use third party platforms such as Slack to host community discussions. Participation in these platforms is subject to their own privacy policies and terms. IntelAgility does not control how third party platforms collect, use, or process your data. You should review the relevant platform’s terms and privacy documentation before participating.
9) AI tools and integrations
IntelAgility may recommend or reference third party AI tools as part of educational content, workflows, or resources. IntelAgility does not transmit Personal Information to AI providers unless explicitly authorised by you through a form, integration, or third party service you choose to use.
Where IntelAgility offers optional integrations in the future, any data sharing through an integration will be described at the point of collection and will be subject to applicable law and, where required, your consent.
10) Anonymised usage insights
We may analyse anonymised and aggregated information derived from community feedback, workflows, or tool usage to improve IntelAgility content, frameworks, and resources. These analyses are designed not to use personally identifiable information.
11) Disclosures to service providers and legal requirements
A. Service providers
We may share information with vendors and service providers who process information on our behalf for hosting, analytics, communications, forms, community operations, support, and payment processing (if applicable). Such providers are authorised to process information only as necessary to provide services to us and are subject to contractual obligations to protect it.
B. Legal and safety
We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, court order, or other lawful process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, and security, investigate fraud or misuse, or enforce our terms.
C. Business transactions
If IntelAgility is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, or sale of assets, information may be disclosed as part of that transaction subject to standard confidentiality protections and applicable legal requirements.
D. With your direction or consent
We may disclose information when you request it, direct us to do so, or provide informed consent.
12) External links
Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. We have no control over the content or practices of these sites and cannot accept responsibility for their respective privacy policies. You should review the privacy policies of any external site you visit.
13) Cookie policy
Cookies are small text files sent by a server to your device. We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- recognise your device or session
- understand how visitors interact with our website
- improve performance, usability, and security

14) Data retention
We retain Personal Information only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We may retain de identified or aggregated information for longer periods.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, use, alteration, and disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we do not guarantee absolute security.
16) International users and cross border processing
IntelAgility operates internationally. By using our website or Services, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence, including where our service providers operate. Those jurisdictions may have different privacy laws. Where required, we use contractual and other measures intended to provide an appropriate level of protection.
17) Account deletion
If an account or member profile is created in the future, you will be able to request deletion of your account and associated data. Where the Services already allow deletion requests, you may request that we permanently delete your personal data as described in Section 1, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
18) Your rights and choices

19) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by other reasonable means where required.
